BY HIP CERTIFICATION THROUGH THE OFA / SV/ and PENN HIP programs the risk of Crippling Hip Dysplacia is greatly reduced

OFA: A dog must be two years old for a permanent OFA while prelim OFA's at 12 months. 

 SV: The SV "A stamp" for hips or elbows can be done at one year. 

PennHIP: (University of Pennsylvania Hip Improvement Program) PennHip is a multifaceted radiographic technology Xray that can be used in dogs or puppies as young as 4 months of age
